Yep.

They’re the Brava Shadow II from Academy Sports. Okay, so technically they’re indoor soccer shoes, but most indoor soccer shoes make awesome driving shoes and these are no exception. However, at $17 a pair, they’re by far the best budget driving shoe option I’ve found in quite some time., especially since the FILA Mach6 is no longer being made.

(Pro-Tip: I prefer replacing the normal laces with a set of elastic laces so that you get the full benefit of slip-on’s without sacrificing a snug fit. On the downside, that brings the final cost of these to a wallet-crushing $20.)

I drove home from the gym in my FiveFingers today and can't think of a better driving shoe. They're like bare feet, but with better traction.

Tried them and tried barefoot but I don't like either. My toes try to grip too much and wind up wrapping over the edge of the pedal.
